The Sydney Sacred Music Festival 2019, our ninth year celebrating an extensive range of music, ceremony and art and is yet again bringing diverse artists and cultures together to create new work, showcase hidden treasures from our community and present events in unique spaces.

Nothing But The Present

We return to The Armory at Sydney Olympic Park for our annual Building 20 event. Our showcase this year is world-renowned percussionist Claire Edwardes, the ever sensational Fantastic Terrific Munkle led by Sam Golding and Triglav, a new work inspired by Slavic mythology combining Macedonian dance, Bulgarian vocals, electronic sounds and visuals.

SSMF Ashfield EDGE Hub

Be part of our three-day SSMF Ashfield EDGE Hub, that features new music created for the Moon Festival concert, In Movement dance spectacular and Universal Rhythms concert.
Universal Rhythms features some of Australia’s finest musicians collaborating with local communities to create a non-stop performance that culminates in a cosmic grand finale. This concert features jazz legend David Jones and the multi-lingual Aurora Choralis with Ghanaian drummers and Sudanese Sufis.
