The Precession of Silence 

Join contemporary artist Marian Abboud as she turns two intimate public locations into sacred spaces, using site specific video projection and the amazing live voice of Persian singer, Pegah Varamini.

Locations will be given out on the day of the performance. So, have faith and follow the journey to a new sacred space!

Marian Abboud
Is a multi-disciplinary Western Sydney based artist. She works across various technologies to create projected images that feed into performance, installation and site-specific works. ... She is currently working across a broad range of disciplines including photography, film, performance and public art.

Pegah Varamini
Music Researcher, Composer, Pianist, Vocalist and director of Hezar Ava Ensemble. Pegah started her exploration of Persian classical music with Shiraz University of Medical Sciences Chamber Orchestra as a pianist and in 1998 and joined “Fars Ladies Chamber Orchestra” conducted by maestro Ali Jafarian. She has also been trained to sing Persian Vocal Radif, a collection of old melodic figures preserved through many generations by oral tradition and will showcase her amazing voice and piano skills at Camelot via Persian Classical composition.
